The NHI KAS Mobile Client handles privacy-sensitive information in the following fashion:

Data: User login name.

Transmitted: The user login name and other credential information is transmitted in an encrypted format from the KAS Mobile Client to the associated private KAS Server. The target KAS Server is operated by the user's organization. Network Harbor Inc. does not receive this information.

Storage: The user login name is stored by the user's organization on their private KAS Server. Network Harbor Inc. does not store this information.

Processing: The user login name is used for two purposes:
The first is to authenticate messages from the client and check permissions upon that connection. All processing takes place upon the private KAS Server. Network Harbor Inc. does not receive this information.
The second is to label the source of a KAS Alert if one is sent from the local KAS Mobile Client to other KAS Clients or endpoints. All processing takes place upon the private KAS Server, with the originating user identifier (username) passed to endpoints configured to receive alerts. Network Harbor Inc. does not process this information.



Data: Precise Location

Transmitted: The precise location of the device is transmitted in an encrypted format from the KAS Mobile Client to the associated private KAS Server. The target KAS Server is operated by the user's organization. Network Harbor Inc. does not receive this information.

Storage: The device location is handled ephemerally and forwarded to endpoints designated to receive a precise location during an alert. The device location is not stored by the private KAS Server. Network Harbor Inc. does not store this information.

Processing: The device location is used to inform configured individuals and organizations of the user's/device's location during an alert situation. Location is not sent by the software except upon explicit user request. Network Harbor Inc. does not process this information.




Data: Firebase Cloud Messaging Token

Transmitted: The Firebase Cloud Messaging Token is transmitted in an encrypted format from the KAS Mobile Client to the associated private KAS Server. The target KAS Server is operated by the user's organization. Network Harbor Inc. does not receive this information.

Storage: The Firebase Cloud Messaging Token is stored by the user's organization on their private KAS Server. Network Harbor Inc. does not store this information.

Processing: The Firebase Cloud Messaging Token is used to allow the private KAS Server to push alerts to relevant KAS Mobile Clients. Network Harbor Inc. does not process this information.



All identifying and/or privacy sensitive information entered by users of the KAS Mobile Client software is only provided to the user's organization for direct use towards the application's purpose of notifying users of alerts and forwarding the location of those alerts as configured by the user's organization. No identifying and/or privacy sensitive information is transmitted, stored, processed, or otherwise known to Network Harbor Inc. during the life cycle of this application.
